We invite you to be part of our mission. We have many opportunities for you to share your time, talents, and treasures with us!

Help keep our Transitional Living Centers (TLC) fresh, welcoming homes. Like any home, our spaces need to be refreshed periodically with new paint, window treatments, bedding and artwork.

Organize and run a collection drive at your school, workplace or in the community to provide items our young women need on their journey to self sufficiency. Click here for a list of our most needed items.

Provide much needed administrative support with tasks like data entry, filing, scanning or assisting with mailings. Tasks vary depending on current needs and the volunteer skills.

One-time needs may include a special project at one of our Transitional Living Center homes, packaging auction items for our Gala, setting up for the Gala, hand-addressing envelopes, preparing mailings and more.

Join a Committee
Support Our Friends Place by lending your skills to one of our committees.

Coordinate and implement our greatest need: mission-critical fundraising.

Develop financial policies and procedures. Help prepare annual budget with monthly reconciliation.

Identify, recommend and oversee improvements, maintenance and grounds needs for our TLC sites.

Coordinate and implement communication plans, including mailings, newsletters, website and more.

Ensure that all aspects of the Our Friends Place organization, programs and staff structure is racially equitable. This committee also focuses on educating the board on racial equity through mediums such as board meeting mini trainings, Our Friends Place multi-media/book club and sharing educational materials.

Create and assist with implementing technology plans related to systems at the administrative office and TLC properties.

Plan, solicit, pick-up donations or help in other ways with our annual fundraiser hosted Saturday, November 8, 2025.
