THERAPEUTIC FOSTER GROUP HOME 2004 SUCCESSES

Girls enrolled in the Group Home Program three months or longer accomplished the following goals.

• 100% of participants improved their use of age-appropriate life-skills (e.g. problem solving, communication, daily living);

• 100% of residents consistently improved their physical and dental health;

• 100% did not become pregnant while in the program;

• 100% of clients passed to the next grade level in school;

• 92% of participants decreased or withdrew from active involvement in gangs;

• 92% of residents decreased or refrained from alcohol and drug use during placement.
   

TRANSITIONAL LIVING CENTER 2004 SUCCESSES

Young women enrolled in the Transitional Living Program three months and longer accomplished the following goals.

• 100% of residents increased their job-related skills by learning how to properly fill out applications, submit resumes, and conduct efficient job searches;

• 100% of clients were actively employed at least part-time;

• 92% did not become pregnant while in the program;

• 92% of the residents were enrolled in educational or vocational courses to increase employability;

• 92% of clients either successfully completed or are still working the program.
